| Tracey's Treats is a business owned and operated by a family with Gluten Intolerance and Celiac Disease.
Believing there must be a way to make better tasting, better textured gluten free (GF) food than what was commercially available, we endured a lot of trial and error to develop GF food that even non-celiacs enjoy.
In order to share the delicious foods that we developed, we started a made to order, delivery-only GF home bakery. We received much positive feedback about the freshness and superior taste and texture of our products. But our customers who ordered more than one loaf were having to freeze it and thaw it later, thus losing that fresh-baked quality. We also recognized that other commercial GF bread was usually baked then frozen before being sold, losing its freshness. So, we decided to focus on a way to enable everyone on a GF diet to experience a convenient way to have fresh baked GF products.
In Sept. 2005, Tracey's Treats began selling thaw and bake frozen GF foods in the Pittsburgh, PA region. Our frozen products provide not only a way for those on a gluten free diet to enjoy fresh baked GF food at home, but also a way for wheat-eating friends, relatives, and institutions to provide fresh baked GF bread, without having to worry about the preparation and cross-contamination.
In Sept. 2006, at the request of customers, Tracey's Treats proudly introduced dry mixes, which can be shipped anywhere in the United States.
Tracey's Treats' goal is to enable all of us on a Gluten Free diet to enjoy eating tender, fresh baked bread products again.
